Nurse-Aide Training Program

75 hour course, including 24 hours of field
clinical training in a Skilled Nursing facility.

This program provides classroom and practical skills instruction at
Universal Health Services. This course is an excellent opportunity for
gaining employment skills, and provides a solid background
or a career in the health care field.
Course: Certified Nurse Aide
Course Description: This class will prepare students to work in a
nursing home,hospital, doctor’s office or home health/hospice agency
as a CNA. The CNA’s roll is to provide Non-invasive bedside care under
the supervision of a nurse.
Cost Will Include: Tuition, Uniform, CPR, Text Book and State of Texas
Testing Fees.
Cost of Course: $750.00. Tuition due upon acceptance to school and
prior to the first day of class
Enrollment Requirements
*18 years or older
*Good physical and mental health
*High School diploma/GED
*Pass a Comprehensive Reading Test
*Current Government issued identification card with picture
*Pass Criminal History Check
*Must speak English clearly
Vocational Nursing Program

*Pass the TEAS basic aptitude test
*Good physical and mental health

Course: Vocational Nursing
Course Description: This basic nursing course is designed to provide
the vocational nursing student with an introduction and overview of the
nursing profession including nature and history, standards of practice,
legal and ethical issues and the role and scope of practice of the
vocational nurse.
Cost Will Include: Registration Fee (non-refundable), Tuition, Uniforms,
CPR, Text Books, Work Books, ATI’s Comprehensive Assesment and
Review Program(NCLEX-PN Prep)
Cost of Course: $18,500.00. Registration fee ($150.00) is due upon
registration and is non-refundable. Tuition due upon acceptance to
school and prior to the first day of class. Payment plan option is
available and must be pre-approved by Student Services before the
first day of class.
